Determining which misting system is best for you is pretty easy and requires three steps:
- Work out the perimeter length of the area you want to cover with your misting kit.
- Decide on whether you want to use the misting system to provide humidification, cooling, dust or odour control.
- Match these requirements against the ProFog product guide.

Calculating Perimeter Length
Simply measure the perimeter length in metres. If this is to cover a rectangular area such as a patio, then measure all four sides. If this is to create a perimeter barrier (e.g. for odour control), simply measure the length of the area required to act as a barrier.
Examples
1) A small patio humidification system to cover a perimeter area of 10m
- Perimeter length is 3m + 3m + 1.5m + 1.5m = 9m
- The system is to provide humidification
- Therefore a ProFog 12 Humidification Kit is the best option
2) A 120m perimeter barrier to prevent dust from a large industrial unit
- Perimeter length is 120m
- The system is to control dust
- Therefore a ProFog 150 Odour and Dust Kit is the best option
